On April 23, 2026, the II stage of the XVIII Republican Subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the educational program "Economics" was held at the Shäkärim University National Academic Office. The Olympiad was organized by the Department of Economics and Finance.

The intellectual competition aimed to deepen students' theoretical knowledge, develop their practical skills, and enhance their professional training. The Olympiad served as an important platform for showcasing analytical thinking, creativity, and the ability to make informed economic decisions.

The Olympiad was attended by teams of students from the leading universities of the country, who showed a high level of training, desire for knowledge and competitive spirit.  According to the results of the competition, the following teams were the winners

I place – the team "CrisisMind" of NAPO "Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov".

II place – the team "Narxoz Navigators" of NAPO "Narxoz University" and the team "F3" of NAPO "L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University".

III place – the team of TripleImactAlmaty Management University; the team of “Bokeikhanovtsy” AlikhanBokeikhanUniversity; the team of “Alpha” University Turan- Astana.

Holding such events contributes to the formation of competent, financially literate specialists who can contribute to the sustainable development and prosperity of the country’s economy.
