2022 year - 26th place 2023 year - 28th place The educational program B03602 Translation Studies was developed at the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Philology of the Shakarim University of Semey. The peculiarity of the educational program is developed on the basis of a competency-based model of training specialists, which meets the needs of the labor market and the requirements of employers. This model is a description of the key competencies of graduates, their level of preparedness and readiness to perform specific professional functions. The uniqueness of the educational program B03602 Translation Studies is to provide conditions for obtaining a full-fledged, high-quality professional education, professional competence in the field of translation. The sphere of professional activity of the graduate is: - administrative and managerial sphere; - the sphere of culture and intercultural communication; - the sphere of international relations; - the sphere of publishing; - the sphere of mass media; - information and analytical sphere and in other spheres. When implementing the educational program, it is planned to use artificial intelligence tools in the educational process, thereby developing digital competencies among students in a rapidly changing technological environment. The educational program provides for the education of a student with special educational needs in the conditions of a higher educational institution, as well as his socialization and integration into society.
The main criterion for the completion of the educational process for the preparation of bachelors is the development of students at least 203 credits of theoretical training, as well as at least 27 credits of practice, 12 credits of final certification. Total 240 credits.
